If you have some leftover tortilla wraps and don’t fancy a wrap, here’s a recipe which is great if you want to want to make something for a dip. I made these for my Baba Ghanoush.
INGREDIENTS:
- Tortilla wraps (I used 2 wraps but you can use as many as you want)
- Vegetable or sunflower Oil
METHOD:
1. Cut tortilla wraps into triangles (using a pair of scissors works best). The triangles should be roughly the same size. For consistency, its easiest to cut them first into 2 inch-wide strips then cut the strips into triangles.
2. Heat oil is a stainless steel pan (best use a pan without any coating) until oil is hot.
3. Add the tortilla triangles and fry. Turn the oil down to a medium to low heat when frying to avoid buying the tortilla triangles. Fry until golden brown and place onto a place with kitchen towel to soak up any excess oil.
4. Serve with Baba Ghanoush, salsa, any dip and even chilli!

Enjoy!
